Early Life

I was raised in small-town life, moving frequently before my family eventually settled on a small hobby farm. From an early age, I found comfort in books and storytelling, often filling notebooks with stories of my own. My love of writing was encouraged throughout school, where I received recognition and awards for my creative work.

Growing up surrounded by nature, I found inspiration in both the landscapes around me and the people who shaped my life. The friendships, communities, and found family I built along the way taught me some of my most important lessons. Those experiences continue to influence my writing today.

My stories often explore themes of friendship, resilience, grief, healing, and personal growth. Through emotionally driven characters and authentic relationships, I hope to create stories that remind readers they are not alone in life's most difficult moments.

Published Work

Currently, I have one book published. However, I am in the editing process of my debut novel, Exponential Decay, hopefully being published at the end of 2026 or beginning of 2027.

Survivor's Grief: Childhood Sexual Abuse Survivors & the Seven Stages of Grief

A collection of poems of healing and finding the person underneath trauma. Growth, stumbles, victories and all. Often people believe healing to be the sun after you’ve stood in a bone chilling downpour. Healing, however, is stumbling in the dark, slowly finding candles along the way, all while praying the wax doesn’t disappear before you find the next one.

It is full of heartache and questioning of oneself. It’s brief moments of reprieve, only to find more darkness. It is growth through tears.

This collection of poems is to inspire and bring you through the stages of grief, as well as let you know that you are not alone. Mainly it is to give hope, when you feel all hope is gone.

Writing Style and Themes

My writing is characterized by emotional depth, character-driven storytelling, and an intimate exploration of the human experience. I focus on the relationships that shape us—friendships, family bonds, love, loss, and the connections that help people find their way through difficult seasons of life.

Through a balance of heartfelt emotion, quiet humor, and realistic character interactions, I create stories that examine grief, healing, identity, and personal growth. My work often explores how ordinary moments can become turning points in a person's life.

Character Development

A defining feature of my writing is focusing on deeply human characters. Rather than relying on dramatic events alone, I explore internal struggles, fears, hopes, and vulnerabilities that influence characters' choices. My characters are imperfect, resilient, and continually evolving, allowing readers to connect with them on a personal level.

Relationships play a central role in my storytelling. Whether through friendship, family, or romance, I highlight the way people support one another through hardship and growth, creating emotionally resonant journeys that linger long after the final page.

Emotional Resonance

At the heart, is a commitment to authenticity. I embrace both the painful and hopeful aspects of life, treating complex subjects with empathy and care. Through honest portrayals of grief, recovery, and self-discovery, I aim to create stories that make readers feel understood, encouraged, and connected.

Future Projects

As of now, I am working on several new projects, focusing on my debut novel, Exponential Decay, which will be book one of a Duology. This book will explore Grief, Trauma, Healing, Self-discovery, Found Family and so much more! It is a literary fiction novel with psychological and contemporary elements.

Other Notable Projects:

  1. Exponential Growth: Book Two of the debut novel Duology.

  2. ABCs of Parenthood: A children's book reflecting on the joys of parenthood.

Conclusion

Through stories centered on friendship, healing, resilience, and personal growth, I seek to create characters and experiences that feel authentic and relatable. My writing explores both the challenges and joys of life, embracing the idea that even in our most difficult moments, connection and hope can still be found.

Whether you're discovering my work for the first time or returning for another story, I hopes my books leave you feeling seen, encouraged, and reminded that no one has to navigate life's journey alone.
